Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) for Marketing

HTI has created a Group Purchasing Agent (GPO) for marketing. HTI’s Marketing GPO provides a wide variety of marketing resources far more affordably than if they were purchased independently by individual hospitals, and provides a more comprehensive marketing activities than individual hospitals can afford to do on their own.

Internet Marketing

A major component of the GPO is a comprehensive Internet Marketing effort. Research indicates that nearly 90% of prospective Bariatric Patients now research the internet before they make a decision to self refer to a given program. Respective participating facilities determine their monthly budget for specified zip codes or other designated target market areas.

Funds are used to set key word bidding and write customized ads. Your website is driven to the top ten sites listed in the Google Search Results Page. It would be difficult for a free standing facility to optimize search engine results to the extent achieved by the Marketing GPO.

National Advertising

The Marketing GPO also includes National television advertising every week of the year, with ads running in high profile programming such as "Lifetime Movies", "Today Show", "Good Morning America", "Oprah", and "American Idol".

Loyalty Marketing/Affinity Marketing/Referral Programs

HTI provides mechanisms to keep in touch with patients, keep them involved and keep them telling their friends and families about LivLite. These programs can also promote other facility programs.

Marketing Research and Large Marketing Database HTI’s regular marketing surveys of its former patients and prospective patients provides an extensive database of marketing information about target audiences, lifestyles and media exposure habits. This enables HTI to target its marketing activities with a high degree of effectiveness. We know about patient and physician referral patterns, which TV programs prospects watch and which magazines they read.
