We are a privately held company who has been involved in the marketing and management of bariatric surgery programs since 1983. We have watched the evolution of bariatric surgery become more sophisticated. And we responded by expanding our products and services. In 1997 we rolled out the first version of The Patient Manager, online software, to help our clients manage their bariatric programs. As public awareness increased so did the competition and regulations. Jerry Gillman is Founder and Chairman of Healthwise Technologies, Inc., which has developed a suite of customizable internet based technology products that have been designed from the ground up to be easy to use and yet provide comprehensive features to effectively track patients and their outcomes.The software enables medical professionals to make better decisions leading to better patient care. In addition, Healthwise Technologies develops custom software for major healthcare companies.
Jerry previously founded LivLite, the most comprehensive obesity surgery management program available to hospitals and healthcare providers nationwide. The program provides surgery and other necessary services for the morbidly obese patient.
